The fullness of joy
There is a Psalm that says, “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy….'“
This week’s message will not be as long as my usual messages. I’m not pressed for time, nor am I “busy”. This is actually the one day this week where my calendar says “Nothing planned. Create an event?” I respond gleefully in my mind, “No. I shan’t. I am going to enjoy today with no extra obligations or commitments.”
Noooo…This message is a little shorter for ONE reason. It needs to reach someone, maybe a few of you, but SOMEONE quickly. Someone who needs to know that they are not alone. Someone who’s two seconds from throwing in the towel. Someone who feels utterly alone. Someone who feels disconnected. Someone who feels discouraged and disparaged. THAT someone.
I don’t want to waste time wordsmithing today. Today’s message is inspired by the BLESSINGS card and the TRANSFORMATION card from the Sacred Destiny oracle deck.
The drastic changes in your life of late that have caused you sadness, disappointment and despair is not an indication of your being alone, but an indication of life. The movement, the flow, the cycles, the lessons and the blessings are all a part of life. This life. Your life. It’s ok to be uncertain sometimes. Not every decision in life is urgent. Sometimes life forces us to learn how to take our time on things that need a longer process. You are growing. You have grown.
You are being ushered into the next phase of your life and it is going to be wondrous. The blessings may very well surprise you. I know it’s easy to try to protect yourself with what we call realism. But some mistake pessimism for realism and they are not the same. With realism there is respect and appreciation for practicality. With pessimism, we bound ourselves to gloomy outcomes that may never materialize. You know what’s REAL? Let me tell you something I told my FIY group just last Friday. “If the worst can happen then so can the best.” Living in a state of perpetual pessimism and cynicism is not the protection many think it is. It doesn’t protect us from hurt, pain or disappointment. It robs us of the fullness of joy!
Blessings are on the way. Look at those beautiful yellows in the images. That’s joy! As for me, personally, I don’t play about the power of joy! You see that background? That’s an accent wall that I have dedicated to joy. When the sun shines through that window, it is nothing less than divine.
Don’t give up on yourself or your divine team. Whomever your divine team is, they wanted you to see this message. Lean in to them. Hear their song. Tap into the frequency and receive with your heart. Receive the messages, the guidance and blessings that are yours. Let them show you that….
You are loved. You are not alone. You are not forsaken.
